The JT Dog Training Puppy Group at The Old House Farm is delighted to present a comprehensive 6-week program with 1-hour weekly sessions from 1pm to 2pm. Join us on the following dates: Friday 15 March 2024 Friday 22 March 2024 Friday 29 March 2024 NO SESSION ON 5 APRIL AS I'M AWAY Friday 12 April Friday 19 April Friday 26 April COST: £180 Our inclusive Puppy Group sessions welcome dogs of all breeds, puppies, budding gundogs, and pet gundogs, provided they are fully vaccinated. We extend a warm invitation to rescue dogs and older companions, fostering an environment that caters to various needs and experiences. Puppies as young as 12 weeks are encouraged to join, ensuring an early start to their training journey after completing both vaccinations. Set against the backdrop of our secure 3-acre paddock, our outdoor training sessions provide a safe and expansive space for dogs to learn and thrive. Our carefully crafted curriculum focuses on essential exercises, emphasising positive reinforcement and treat-based methods. From cultivating focus and mastering loose lead walking to fundamental health inspections and recall exercises, our goal is to establish a strong foundation for obedience and a deep connection between dogs and their owners. Throughout the sessions, we explore vital cues such as Sit, Down, Settle, Cone Search, Play Retrieve, Heel Work, Touch, and Leave, creating a comprehensive and engaging learning experience. These sessions are not just for your furry friends—other family members are welcome to participate, enhancing the collective bonding experience. Upon booking, participants will receive detailed instructions, including the session location and a list of items to bring. Please note that refunds for missed sessions are not offered unless supported by a vet's letter. Upon your arrival at the venue, please park considerately on the gravel drive, avoiding the grass area to ensure a smooth experience for everyone, with ample space for up to 8 cars. Your dedicated instructor, Jennifer, will be there to greet you and guide you through this exciting training journey with your beloved pups.
