Beginner Gundog Training Day - Wednesday 7 & 14 May 2025 EJ Churchill | 10am - 12.30pm Cost: £100 For this group, dogs/puppies should be keen to hunt, retrieve and have a reliable recall. This is an introduction to gundog training for young dogs or inexperienced handlers who have a gundog breed and want to get the most out of your relationship together. Also for those who are keen to progress further with their dogs. Dogs can not be gun-shy as there will be the sound of shotguns being fired around on the clay pigeon shoot. £100 per handler this is for 2 x 2.5 hour sessions per week (Wednesday 7 and 14 May 2025). Training areas and 'discussion': Marked & memory retrieves Steadiness Heel work Blind retrieves Walk up Hunting Stop whistle Unfortunately dogs that bark continuously are not allowed to participate at the request of Sir Edward Dashwood.
