Beginner Gundog Training Session - Friday 20th March 2026 West Wycombe Estate | 10am to 12pm Cost: £50 Maximum of 6 handlers per group For this group, dogs/puppies should be keen to hunt, retrieve and have a reliable recall. There is a lot of wildlife on the estate. Dogs should be used to training in a group and be focused on you as the handler, ie not wanting to run off with the dummy and want to play with other dogs which takes up a lot of everyone's time. There are some great shallow water entries to build your puppies confidence in and around water - remember to bring your wellies, so that you can get in the water with them if necessary. If your dog or puppy is not ready for this group, please don't worry - I would then advise you to contact me via e-mail and book onto a couple of 1-2-1 sessions or a heel and recall workshop group which are held in my secure 3 acre paddock at home in Princes Risborough. All gundog breeds welcome - for dogs/puppies of 12 months and older. If your dog is younger and you feel they are ready, please do get in touch and I can have a chat with you to discuss what stage your puppy is at. £50 per handler this is for a 2 hour session.
