Gundog Training Afternoon - Friday 5 June 2026 West Wycombe Estate (not Kitty's Lodge) | 1pm to 3pm Each handler will enjoy an afternoon of gundog training using dummies in the heart of the stunning West Wycombe Estate. We will meet in a layby and drive together onto the estate. The session runs from 1pm to 3pm with a maximum of 6 handlers in the group. There is no water in this part of the estate. Cost: £40 per handler. This covers the training fee, ground hire, tea and coffee on arrival, and a dedicated dummy thrower. Who’s it for? This day is ideal for young or novice gundogs (primarily working on retrieving skills) to refine handling techniques in on the West Wycombe Estate including woodland. You’ll work on marks, blinds, hunting and memories, improving both your dog’s skills and your own. All breed of gundog welcome. (Minimum age 12 months.) Venue Details: We will meet at a location just outside West Wycombe, Bucks. (Full address and details will be sent to you prior to the session.) Training Requirements: Dogs should be used to working in a group environment, have a reliable recall, and be eager to hunt and retrieve. No Refund Policy: Once booked, no refunds will be given unless a vet’s letter is provided. Insurance: Participation is at the handler’s own risk. Jennifer Thomas Dog Training, instructors, helpers, and estate owners/landlords accept no liability for injury or loss. Handlers are responsible for their dogs and equipment at all times and should ensure they have appropriate pet or household insurance in case of damage or injury caused by their dog.
