Service Description

Heel, Recall & Focus Workshop 6 x Weekly Sessions | 1.5 hours each | Sundays 12pm to 1.30pm Location: The Old House Farm, Oddley Lane, Saunderton, Bucks HP27 9NQ This six‑week workshop is designed to improve heel work, recall and focus around distractions such as people, other dogs and new environments. Held in a secure 3‑acre paddock, it provides a safe, controlled space for dogs to learn and progress with confidence. Suitable for all breeds and puppies from around five months, the workshop is also ideal for pet dogs of any breed who need to develop better focus, stronger recall and calmer, more consistent lead walking. We reinforce key behaviours, improve communication, and help you build a stronger working partnership with your dog. Handlers will also be introduced to early retrieving, hunting and handling exercises, giving dogs the foundations needed before progressing to my Foundation Gundog Training groups at West Wycombe. Please note: These groups are not suitable for dogs who are reactive to other dogs or people. If you need guidance or a behaviourist recommendation, please get in touch. --- Dates: Sundays — 25/10, 1/11, 8/11, 15/11, 22/11 & 29/11 Time: 12pm–1.30pm Location: The Old House Farm, Saunderton (secure 3‑acre paddock) Cost: £240 for the 6‑week course Maximum: 8 handlers --- Cancellation Policy Once booked onto this group, no refund can be given. If I have to cancel any sessions for any reason, they may be moved to another group or a 1‑2‑1 session. In this case, the difference in fee must be paid. For example: if the group session is £40 and a 1‑2‑1 session is £75, the handler will need to pay the additional £35. --- Disclaimer Participation in Jennifer Thomas Dog Training activities is entirely at the risk of the participant. Neither Jennifer Thomas nor any instructors, helpers, venue owners or landlords accept responsibility for injuries or losses sustained. Handlers and owners remain responsible for their dogs, vehicles and equipment at all times and are advised to ensure they have suitable pet or household insurance in the event of damage or injury caused by their dog.
