Gundog Training Session at EJ Churchill, Park Lane, Lane End, Stokenchurch, High Wycombe HP14 3NS Wednesday 2 April 2025 10am to 12.30pm Each handler will enjoy a morning of gundog training using dummies in the woodland and open fields at EJ Churchill's shooting ground. The session runs from 10am to 12.30pm. Cost: £50 per handler. Who’s it for? This day is ideal for young or novice gundogs to refine handling techniques in a variety of settings including woodland and open grassland. There is no water at this location. You’ll work on marks, blinds, hunting and memories, improving both your dog’s skills and your own. All breed of gundog welcome. (Minimum age 10 months.) Venue Details: We will meet at 9.45am in the lower car park at EJ Churchill - exact location will be e-mailed out to you the week before and we aim to finish at 12.30pm. Please note that there will be gunshot being fired around the car park area and woodland. If your dogs are gun-shy then this session is not for you. Please contact me via e-mail before you book if you are unsure. Training Requirements: Dogs should be used to working in a group environment, have a reliable recall, and be eager to hunt and retrieve. Important Notes: Barking: Dogs that bark continuously will be asked to leave the group. No Refund Policy: Once booked, no refunds will be given unless a vet’s letter is provided. Insurance: Participation is at the handler’s own risk. Jennifer Thomas Dog Training, instructors, helpers, and estate owners/landlords accept no liability for injury or loss. Handlers are responsible for their dogs and equipment at all times and should ensure they have appropriate pet or household insurance in case of damage or injury caused by their dog.
