Gundog Training Day - Wednesday 30 April 2025 West Wycombe Estate | 10am - 2.30pm Each handler will enjoy a day of gundog training using dummies in the heart of the stunning West Wycombe Estate. The session runs from 10am to 2.30pm. Cost: £70 per handler. This covers the training fee, ground hire, tea and coffee on arrival, and a dedicated dummy thrower. Who’s it for? This day is ideal for young or novice gundogs (primarily working on retrieving skills) to refine handling techniques in a variety of settings in a stunning valley on the West Wycombe Estate including woodland. You’ll work on marks, blinds, hunting and memories, improving both your dog’s skills and your own. All breed of gundog welcome. (Minimum age 10 months.) Venue Details: We will meet at 9.30am in West Wycombe, Bucks. Training Requirements: Dogs should be used to working in a group environment, have a reliable recall, and be eager to hunt and retrieve. Barking: Dogs that bark continuously will be asked to leave the group. No Refund Policy: Once booked, no refunds will be given unless a vet’s letter is provided. Insurance: Participation is at the handler’s own risk. Jennifer Thomas Dog Training, instructors, helpers, and estate owners/landlords accept no liability for injury or loss. Handlers are responsible for their dogs and equipment at all times and should ensure they have appropriate pet or household insurance in case of damage or injury caused by their dog.
