The Upper Puppy Gundog Introduction at The Old House Farm is delighted to present a comprehensive 4-weekly program with 1 hour weekly sessions from 6pm to 7pm on a Tuesday evening from 2 June to 23 June. This 4 weekly course is designed for those who have already attended either mine or other puppy groups and want to progress further with their training and introduce the dogs to the basics of better obedience and fun gundog training. Suitable for puppies, pet gundogs, and rescue dogs of all ages. Join us on the following dates: Tuesday 2 June Tuesday 9 June Tuesday 16 June Tuesday 23 June COST: £120 This course is suitable for all breed of dog of any age and for budding gundogs or pet gundogs! Maximum group size 6 dogs with their handlers. Did you attend a mine or another puppy group when your dog was younger, but it seems like a distant memory and now you would like to have a recap on your recall and to teach your dog to walk nicely on the lead with some fun gundog activities? Then this course is for you! Throughout the course we will be looking at: Focus Reflex to name Stop whistle/emergency stop Heel work Recall past other dogs Taking your dog on and off the lead with control Being around other dogs without getting over excited and wanting to play all the time Introduction to gundog training: retrieving on land and over a small jump, We will look at some games to play with your dogs and the start to some fun gundog training if that is the route you are wishing to pursue whether on the field or fun. Please note that once booked onto the group course, no refund or exchanges can be offered for any sessions missed - unless a letter is provided by your vet.
