"We have been attending workshops with my spaniel for over a year and the day training with Jennifer never disappoints! She is very patient, looks at the overall behaviour and offers solutions to any training issues, using kind training methods which is still not a standard in gundog training.

Jennifer always helps us feeling calm and relaxed, doesn’t put any stress on me or my dog which has helped us over the time. Her feedback and advice was always super helpful! I also appreciate how flexible Jennifer was in some cases when I needed to change dates, despite it was very last minute. "Our dog Bonnie has just finished her first block of sessions with Jennifer as part of the Gundog Foundation workshop. We found the group environment to be very friendly, appropriately challenging and supportive. The range of activities provided has enabled Bonnie to develop Gundog skills and cement the basics too. Bonnie has worked on stop whistle, hunting, steadiness, retrieving and clicker trainer.
Working in a secure paddock with access to fields coupled with off street parking also adds to the relaxing environment created by Jennifer. As a highly driven 2 year old Springer Spaniel Bonnie has made lots of progress and we will certainly be booking onto more sessions in the future."

"Have used Jennifer with my Vizsla puppy for Puppy classes - basic and advance, as well as Gun Dog Foundation all in groups of 8 max, & all in her enclosed paddock and adjoining field offering tree shaded classes in hot ( or v wet weather), a variety of short & long/ coarse grass, paddling pools & pond for water development, as well as 'jumping over' set ups. I have also attended a Gun Dog Novice day in the stunning West Wycombe Estate in groups of 6 max, offering many different locations for retrievals across grass, woodland and water. At all times Jennifer has been the most professional trainer I have used across my 4 Vizslas, not only continuously showing expert knowledge across all areas, but also being able to effectively explain to clients what they and their dogs need to be doing. She is also highly qualified across a broad spectrum of training requirements. Backing her training she will also offer links to websites, and her own YouTube videos showing the exercises with her own dogs. Homework is key! She is also firmly in the kindness not brute force category of training. Interspersed with the training direction Jennifer will tell anecdotes about her own experiences, covering danger awareness/ funny incidents/ alternative tips etc. I can not recommend her highly enough!"​

"Jennifer is brilliant. She’s also great with HPRs (not all trainers are!). I’ve done 2 of her puppy training courses with my German pointer puppy Oban. He’s still only 7 months and already way ahead of my previous dogs at that age. Jennifer’s methods are really effective - all using positive reinforcement and learning to use a clicker. But most importantly she treats every dog (and owner) as an individual and can adapt as needed. Earlier this week I took my 6 year old working cocker spaniel for a 1 - 1. We both loved it, Jennifer quickly worked out what stage we’re at and has given us plenty of new gundog training exercises to work on. We took our black lab puppy Monty for 1-2-1’s with Jennifer from about 16 weeks through to about 28 weeks. As first time dog owners Jennifer’s manner, patience and commitment was and is the reason for the strides we have made and continue too. It turns out dogs don’t need anywhere near as much training as their owners!!!The training surroundings are perfect and the creative games and activities ensured that each week we had something new to try at home or out on walks that kept both Monty and us interested and has helped Monty grasp all the basics we wanted out of him. That combined with emails of tips and reminders after sessions means I really can’t recommend Jennifer enough. We will defo be back in the future as we continue to bring Monty on.

"We had an amazing time doing Jennifer’s puppy class with Lola and loved our 6 week puppy class so much we went back and did another 6 week course. Jennifer is kind, patient and positive and makes the puppies and the owners feel at ease. She has completely changed our training experience and helped so much with Lola’s biting, recall, sit and other key training areas. The puppy classes were held in her lovely field with trees for shade, water provided, toys and other training tools which made the training even more beneficial. "I have just finished the Novice dog online course with Jennifer and it was fantastic. The zoom sessions were fun and informative with Jennifer presenting online with videos, power point and demos with one of her dogs. There was ample time for discussion and questions. Homework was set via email  and we had to film ourselves training our dogs for feedback. This was great to do and I learnt a good deal by seeing my own videos (!) but not as much as when Jennifer gave us detailed feedback and suggestions. She is such a lovely positive person, very encouraging and helpful. She really understands all dogs but has a great affinity with working dogs which is exactly what I enjoy about training with her."
